Indication:
implabond is a radiopaque, sterile and self hardening bone cement which allows immediate
and stable anchorage of orthopaedic implants in the living bone. implabond 1G and
3G bone cements contain an antibiotic issued from family of aminosides gentamicin. Advantages:
Mechanical properties far above the ISO 5833 standard
A decreased polymerisation temperature
Less monomer is released in situ
Fi nal rapid hardening reducing risk of prothetic micromovements
Barium sulfate, the used radiopaque agent (produces less wear debris than zirconium dioxyde)
